You can also tour the Rum distillery also found in Roseau Valley.
While at the distillery, you can pick one or two bottles of local rum as souvenirs. Before you buy the rum, you can even sample it and learn about how it is made.
During a tour of the distillery, you’ll also get to learn about the history of St. Lucia’s sugar plantations.
What to experience St. Lucia’s rural life? Then visit the village of Anse La Ray which is a short distance from Roseau Valley.
In this small fishing village, you may encounter fishermen bringing in their catch or farmers on the road side selling their crop.
It’s a nice peaceful village, so you can just wander around and observer the culture and way of life of the people.
It does not matter what you decide to do in and around Marigot Bay, but you’re going to have a delightful time there. The experience will keep you coming back
